"MISFITS Reboot EPI. 0.5" - August 31, 2015

Wind Pig Valley (scene) This wide desert expanse goes off seemingly in every direction. The air is hot and sticky and few creatures move about. It's high noon. Most critters make a point not to mess with the sun's fury when they don't hafta'. But something's roused them up. From out of the cracks, a few lizards can be seen making their way to a great battle in the breach. Overlooking the side of a cliff face they look on as the terrible cries of an female warrior careen through the valley. The desert's animal life looks on as the most unlikely of champions squares off against one of their fiercest predators - the Mountain Lycan. Still with fresh game between its jaws it stands proudly - nearly 8 feet in the air. It sneers down menacingly at the figure below. (cut to close shot of Abey *shots need specification*) Abey is nonplussed by the creature's terrible frame. She stands proudly in her own right, unsheathing her trusty tomahawk. The calls of challenge have been made, but being of the chatty type, the Mountain Lycan can't help but taunt his newest rival.

"So this little warrior has some spirit in him?! Hah! I'll do you in without even releasing my prey from my jaws- I'll slice you up nice and thin WITH THESE CLAWS!"

"DON'T call me a man..." Abey growls through gritted teeth.

"What's that?! Could you speak up a little? You human types are so close to the ground it’s hard to hear what you're saying!

"Liar! You hear me just fine! "Abey sneers, slowly advancing. "I know your kind, talkative BEAST. You're better with tricks and talk than you'll ever be with claws or teeth." Straightening her back, she smiles menacingly & licks her chops. "Don't underestimate me, Lycan. Drop the game so we can have a real fight!"

The Lycan howls with unexpected delight. "Oh, THAT'S Rich! Hahaha!!"

The wind rises into a dark funnel about them as the Lycan's eyes begin to glow a pale yellow. "You'll regret interrupting my dinner, female hume!... PREPARE TO RECEIVE MY FURY!"

"Wind tricks and talk. You're at least SOMEWHAT original, I'll admit... HERE I COME!"

Abey springs into action, twirling one of her Tomahawks from behind the back. It lands with a "SLAP" in her hands as she shoots toward the Lycan. They CLASH, blade and claw, locking for a moment. Then the Lycan's second claw swipes down, but Abey's second hand finds purchase between the gaps of the Lycan's fingers. He clamps down hard, digging into the skin of her forearm. Suddenly, Abey's eyes flash a bright blue hue. She draws breath and releases a blood curdling scream right into the Lycan's ears. As expected, the Lycan's hyper sensitive hearing can't withstand the power of the youth's terrible cry. He staggers wide, wincing and then losing his balance. Abey bites the hand gripping her left forearm, then hews at it with her tomahawk, gaining freedom.

The Mountain Lycan cries out in pain, gripping his arm. He jumps back to choose another method of attack, but Abey is right on his heels. She slides beneath the beast and goes to work on his legs. The lycan's dominate claw swings back to bat her away, but she blocks it with an incredible forearm block & jam's the tomahawk hard in the right calf. Another cry from the Mountain Lycan (Medium high hat showing the windstorm subside - the Lycan is losing control). Letting the Tomahawk go, Abey then leaps onto his back to prepare her next attack. The Lycan is beside himself in rage and sudden fear. Again, he reaches around to grab her, but Abey is one step ahead. Gripping the scruff of his neck, she screams with all her might into his eardrums & it would seem all sense has finally left the Lycan. From his perspective the camera becomes faint and the noise of battle all but ceases to be heard. The Lycan scrambles around, in a tight circle trying desperately to find the girl who was causing him such pain. Suddenly, his leg buckles & his strength is spent. Abey pulls out the Tomahawk and spits in disdain. Casting it aside, she grabs the Lycan from behind (the Lycan is now down on one knee - the proper height for grappling) and readies her super-move. Gritting her teeth, she uses all her might to hoist the Lycan several feet off the ground. Then, powering up, she throws him backwards into a mighty suplex, creating a huge crater in the ground! As the dust settles, we find our heroine's dirt-caked face basking in sweet victory.

"Wuss," she retorts, stretching her right arm at the rotatory cuff. She walks off back into town to claim her ransom.
